Academy Communications, Inc. Consolidates Divisions

to Form Academy Media Group

Highland Heights, OH – Academy Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce the consolidation of divisions and name change within its organization.  For the past twelve years the Cleveland-area advertising agency operated as two divisions; Academy Communications, Inc. (ACI) and Worldwide Media Group.* 

ACI, the general agency division of Academy Communications, Inc., has serviced its clientele with national media placement and creative services.  The agency has offered services including Strategic Marketing, National Dealer Group Advertising, Research and Planning, Media Planning and Placement, Graphic Design, Direct Mail, Print and Outdoor/Billboard Creative, Radio and Television Creative and Production, Sports Marketing and Promotions. 

Worldwide Media Group,* the Yellow Pages division of Academy Communications, Inc., served as a National Yellow Pages agency, specializing in the placement of National Print and Online Yellow Pages Advertising. In keeping in line with industry trends and satisfying its clients’ needs the company saw the need to diversify its product suite.  In February of 2008 Worldwide Media Group* expanded its menu of services to include Search Engine Marketing (encompassing Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click), Local Search, Web Design and Development and Email Marketing.

The team of professionals working for both divisions of the organization realized the benefit of “marrying” its specialized divisions to more effectively promote and market the agency as one entity.  Moving forward, Academy Communications, Inc. and its Worldwide Media Group* division will be united as Academy Media Group.  This will allow staff members to work together to more effectively promote one company as a total solutions service provider for marketers and businesses of all sizes; local, national, regional and international.
